I think this is not a bug.Just look at the artist-name of this release at discogs. At Discogs the artist-name is 'Beats Antique & Eva Salina'. The script use this name without change, cause there is no feat. or ft. in the name.

When I select "Sides To Disc" and also select "Add Leading Zero", the zero is dropped and is displayed as a single digit and the tracks are shown as being on 2 sides (Vinyl) as it should be. If I deselect "Sides To Disc" and keep "Add Leading Zero", the leading zero is displayed and the tracks are shown as listed numerically as if only 1 side or if it's a CD.

Since the format default for this track is shown as Vinyl, LP, Album, why would Discogs not default to an album format that includes "Side" and the correct track numbers according to the side rather than defaulting to a CD format for listing all tracks?

"More images script"

Using the same song listed in previous post. The script finds a 2nd image, I choose to label it from the dropdown as Leaflet and click ok. Where's my image? It was not added to the file. It was not placed in any folder. I also left it to the default as "Other" with the same result. Yes I refreshed and rescanned my library. No image(s).

I searched my HDD for folder.jpg and found all (except for todays image) images I've downloaded using this script. Not only did I find the images(s) attached to my files "multiple" times I also found a copy of each detached from the file(s) in the folder where the track(s) reside. My MM settings are to save image to tag (otherwise save to the file folder). Why is it not doing that?

Formatting disc/track number according to format sounds like a good idea but it means a different configuration for each type of media (which people can prefer). If you tag vinyls and cd's separately, it is possible to save options (which will default on each new album tagging).

Leading zero with the option "Sides To Disc" is now working. I just released the Version 3.64.

The "old" script supports only saving images to file. The filename of the images will be showed in the textbox below the image (folder0.jpg, folder1.jpg and so on)
I just added the support for saving to tag. Now the script should do what you want it to do ;-)
Please download the new Version V1.10 http://www.germanc64.de/mm/DiscogsImages.mmip

Wow...you're great. Thank you for the fast response.

As far as the leading zero, shouldn't the zero appear for the side as well as the track?

Images....I see how the words "Save to tag" (no check box) now appears but the image is not saved to the tag. I again searched my HDD looking for "all" .jpg's created and for the specific time I ran the script, the 1st (original jpg already saved to tag) shows up in an obscure folder (C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles......) with the new timestamp and the new image is nowhere to be found. Weird or what? I did this multiple times. Am I somehow missing something?

I don't think so. I think the leading zero makes only sense to tracks, cause the number of tracks exceeds 9, so sorting with track numbers works with all programs.

If you choose the option save to tag the script will download the image with a random filename, import it to the mp3-files you selected and at last delete the jpg-file.
The jpg-file will only be saved in the song-folder if you choose the option "save to file". So you don't see the artwork in the properties of the tracks ?

I've found discogs to be the most reliable tagger so far.

EDITED: Had a problem one day, works fine the next.

EvylRat wrote:I've found discogs to be the most reliable tagger so far. But I've hit a snag when it comes to multi disc albums. I cannot get the Discogs Tagger to even consider the second disc. I've tried labelling the tracks all sequential; (words in brackets are for information only)
1 - (Disc 1) Track 1
2 - (Disc 1) Track 2
3 - (Disc 2) Track 1
4 - (Disc 2) Track 2
I've tried using the disk track method
101 - (Disc 1) Track 1
102 - (Disc 1) Track 2
201 - (Disc 2) Track 1
202 - (Disc 2) Track 2
and i tried separate directories
Disc 1\1 - Track 1
Disc 1\2 - Track 2
Disc 2\1 - Track 1
Disc 2\2 - Track 2
But I find the tagger either ignores the tracks or tried to tag the second disc as the first.
Thanks in advance (PS I DID search first before asking!)

Thanks for the quick response, hadn't seen the bug tracking thread. Responded. It's working fine today. Only difference is that I added items to the media monkey library today. Using version 4.3.5.
