I have been using it with MM4 since January, works fine.
Re: Song Information Panel v2.0 (2009-09-19) [MM3]
It wouldn't work for me when I first installed it. But then I realized it would work if I reinstalled it and selecte the option to install "for all users - requires admin privileges". But then the problem is that it gets installed to the old location rather than the new one where it should be. That is, it gets installed to "C:\Program Files (x86)\MediaMonkey\Scripts" when it should get installed to " C:\Users\XXX\AppData\Roaming\MediaMonkey\Scripts" with MM4.

I haven't used this addon for a long time, but I wonder what it provides over MM's art&details panel?

Seems to provide all the same information...doesn't it query the database? I like it because all the information I want is compact, I don't have to add another 5+ columns to see track volume, album volume, extension, bitrate, etc. And it fits nicely over/under the LCV. That's the good thing about MM, we can have it the way we want it.nohitter151 wrote:I haven't used this addon for a long time, but I wonder what it provides over MM's art&details panel?

It has the option to show a few more things, and a little more customization. But here is the big difference. You can still read it if it is a dark theme. MM's art & details view is unusable for me because you can't read any of the text if using a dark theme. If the devs could fix that one thing, I would gladly just stick with it instead of using SIP.

Song Info Panel - Re-positioning
I am at loss. How do I re-position the song information panel, somehow it ended up horizontally across the top and I'd like to place it back on the right corner. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Most panels can be moved with drag & drop on the Titlebar.

Thanks for the reply. Titlebar, stupid question maybe, how do I access the titlebar, or make it visible....
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

I haven't used this panel so I don't know for this panel specifically, but with MediaMonkey panels it commonly is with right click > View > View Titlebar.

Thanks again. Right clicking within the panel ? I don't see where I get to right click and get the option view > view titlebar.
Re: Song Information Panel v2.0 (2009-09-19) [MM3]
Fixed it, my stupidity really, the titlebar checkbox was checked off within the options for the song info add-on.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

Is there any way for this addon to show the album rating? I have all tracks rated. Magic Nodes has a node that calculates the album rating and it would be great to see that rating displayed either here or in MonkeyRok.

I don't believe, you'd have to write/copy the calculated rating (as a number) to a custom field and check that field in SIP settingsrrfpacker wrote:Is there any way for this addon to show the album rating? Re: Song Information Panel v2.0 (2009-09-19) [MM3]
Too bad. I don't have time to enter the album rating for all my albums and as my tastes change, so does the rating.
