Performed an Auto Sync yesterday afternoon, adding a new playlist to my phone. This morning, I went in to iTunes to do my daily backup and got the dreaded "iTunes cannot read the contents of the iPhone" message. I decided to try doing another Auto Sync first to see if that might have anything to do with it. Sure enough, after Auto Syncing again, the iPhone showed up fine in iTunes.
What (if anything) is it about the Sync process that might cause such a malfunction?
