Cannot access website via https

Post by eucal »

Hi!

When trying to access https://mediamonkey.com/, I get the following error:
Your certificate contains the same serial number as another certificate issued by the certificate authority. Please get a new certificate containing a unique serial number. Error code: SEC_ERROR_REUSED_ISSUER_AND_SERIAL
Does anybody else have this issue?

The link will not resolve to MM.com with the https prepended. http://www.mediamonkey.com/ will get you there. Obviously, MM.com does not have https protocol functional.

a bit of an interweb basic?
I only just signed up and Trusteer Endpoint Protection advised me that I'm submitting username and password across an insecure connection?

Hi,
if you think that mare https would keep you safe then you are wrong. Also that is why it is advisable to to use different username and passwords on various sites.
