Change The "Added" Date

Change The "Added" Date
I made a couple of small changes to a couple of tracks outside of MediaMonkey and lost the play data.
I managed to change the Played number using Add-Remove PlayStat, but am I able to also change the Added date to bring the tracks into line with the rest of the tracks on the album?

Re: Change The "Added" Date
Each change to filenames outside MMW will tell MMW that it is new tracks and thus you loose stats.

Re: Change The "Added" Date
Yes, I know I will lose stats. There was a reason why I need to do something outside of MM.Peke wrote:Each change to filenames outside MMW will tell MMW that it is new tracks and thus you loose stats.
But, my question is: Is there a way to change the Added date?
I was able to change the Play Count. Can I do a similar thing with the Added date?

Re: Change The "Added" Date
You can do that with RegExp Find & Replace with something like "assign specified string to <Into Field>" + INTO: Added".
There might be an even better preset (no time to look for one now), but this one works fine. Ask questions about it in that thread.

Re: Change The "Added" Date
You can use Folder Monitoring while making the changes and MediaMonkey may keep track of the file and thus its stats.
Note that MediaMonkey has various tools to rename files build in and this will prevent stats loss as well.

Re: Change The "Added" Date
I think that you can use regex script and there was a direct SQL script which will allow you to change added.

Re: Change The "Added" Date
Thanks for your replies, guys.
I will look into RegExp.
@Peke | Are you saying that there is a particular script I can use with it?

I might try this if I can work it out.MMFrLife wrote:You can do that with RegExp Find & Replace with something like "assign specified string to <Into Field>" + INTO: Added".

Re: Change The "Added" Date
Have you tried with http://www.yunqa.de/delphi/products/sqlitespy/ as it supports MM.DB thru extensions?
