Hello
Here is my issue. I have a GTA Vice City album with multiple artists and in the album tab it shows up as like 13 different albums when it should be one:
So I read the instructions on here that you have to like go to: Files to Edit > multiple artist albums > etc etc and I followed all the steps and I cleared the albums from that section of the Tree so I figured it'd correct it. But the album still shows up as multiple albums on my android phone when I sync.
I know there is a way to merge those albums on my phone and that works, but when I sync my phone to my PC again it reverts it back. Someone please help me. I also paid for the media monkey pro on the android phone and really love the software, I just can't figure this out. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong.
Thanks for the help

Do the files on that Album all have the same Album Artist in MMW (and after re-sync in MMA)?

no, the GTA albums are all having different album artists. On the app it's showing the album artists are the actual artists of that individual song when I did in fact change it to "Various Artists".
I'm upset, idk what to do

Hmm,
Here what should be the fastest way to do it. I'm Guessing that all tracks from album have album filled with prefix "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City OST Volume" eg. "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City OST Volume 4: Flash FM" as there are in my collection?
If yes follow these steps and you are good to go:
1. Use File -> Maintain Library
2. Uncheck all except "Create multi artist albums"
3. Find and locate "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City OST Volume 4: Flash FM" and update it
4. If that work you can use that to correct rest. (A WARNING: Always Check before you click OK)
Let me know if that worked.

Re: Album with mixed artists messed up and/sync
I'm saving your post, in case it "undoes" what I did.
So the original steps where I go to the tree and go to edit the files and do the multiple artist stuff.. that appears to be important. Once I clear that I went to my main music library, sorted by album, highlighted all the songs in one album and went to properties and changed it there to "various artists" and also went to album art, made it to specify it was a cover and applied it to all.
I just synced and it's all there

Re: Album with mixed artists messed up and/sync
Now album art is being displayed from a song I deleted awhile ago :/
Re: Album with mixed artists messed up and/sync
Hi,
Can you please elaborate? If you corrected Album Artist in MMW and re synced tracks it should show correctly, or you are saying that MMW shows old album art, which should not be the case.

Re: Album with mixed artists messed up and/sync
I've just written a brief KB article that explains the issues:
http://www.mediamonkey.com/support/inde ... or-missing
The simplest solution in your case would be to verify that the album appears as a single album in MMW, and if yes, delete the problematic tracks in MMA and resync.
