File NAMES

sorry maybe something that has been asked before.
when I send my MP3 file to my ipod the file names are changed.
Is there a setting etc to stop this

No, the filenames are enforced by Apple that way for Apple devices. With most non-Apple devices you can choose how the filenames are synced.
