Playlist no vertical scroll on middle mouse button

This apparently only happens in the playlist view, but I was trying the middle-mouse-button scrolling today and the playlist wouldn't go up and down. It still worked side-to-side, and every other view and portion of the window (including Now playing and the Media Tree) I thought to test worked just fine. Video:

Interesting .. if i am understanding you right you are in a playlist (table view) and using the mouse wheel ... this scrolls for me in playlists

Not mouse wheel, mouse wheel button, when you click the wheel and then move the cursor.

I can't replicate On my A4 Tech X7 x-748k Mouse using mm5 5.0.0.2078.

I've found that my mouse even trigger horizontal scroll for mouse wheel if cursor position is on more than 2/3 of focused in app window.

Check driver settings.

Because I'm not talking about spinning the mouse wheel, as dtsig thought. I'm talking about clicking the mouse wheel and then moving the mouse itself to cause scrolling. The cursors should also turn into this when you move the mouse around:

You'll notice, in the original video, when the arrowhead on the cursor was pointing up or down, nothing happened, but as shown in this one:

It works perfectly everywhere else. Because of this, it CAN'T be hardware issues on my part. It's only one specific place where it isn't working. Also, the middle mouse click shouldn't register as a regular click (as shown by it selecting a different song, and selecting a different media tree entry, just before I started scrolling up and down).

While I'm on the subject of scrolling in the playlists, it would be nice to have the horizontal scrollbar visible all the time instead of just when you get to the bottom of a playlist:

I can verify that this does not work correctly. With the click of the mouse wheel the icon changes BUT scrolling is not enabled.

3. MM5 Detect Middle Mouse click and handle it accordingly where defined it is not not a bug

4. Horizontal bar is addressed already.

Peke, the image you uploaded first was of a video list. I'm not trying to assume anything, just covering bases, this problem only occurs in a playlist view, and I've only tested a music playlist.

I too am using a music playlist. I would create a playlist of 100 or so tracks then try it on that playlist.

This is interesting .. while creating a new playlist .. after d&d tracks to the new play list the new playlist scrolled as one would expect. But when I closed and saved all the playlists and then opened the new list again ... it would not scroll. I can not get any new music playlist to scroll as we have tried.

That is weird. I actually went to my own Recently Added list, and the behavior is the same for me.
