Play Next doesn't work

Running MediaMonkey Gold version 4.1.18.1853 on Windows 7.
I play songs in Random mode.

If I right-Click on a song, I can click "Plan Now" and it will play the song.
However if I click "Play Next", it ignores it.

Any ideas why Play Next doesn't work?

Does it not add to the Now Playing (it should add after the playing song)? If Shuffle is enabled it won't play next though.

Yes I use random. Doesn't make sense though that Play Now works, but Play Next doesn't.
My Plex App on my RoKU TV (in Random), will let me do Play Now, then go back to random, and and with Play Next, I can queue up songs, and when they finish, it goes back to random.
That is what I think it should do.

I guess this is a feature request then.

Play Now overrides current playing, Shuffle overrides Now Playing order.

If you want to maintain control over play order (like using Play Next) use right click in Now Playing > List > Randomize List and disable Shuffle. You'll have the randomized playback of shuffle and still maintain Play Next, Play Last as well as Previous/Next file.
