Some .m4a Files Not Playing

Post by DR593 »

Alright so I have noticed that SOME .m4a files are not playing. Not all of them, only some.

For example I have 1 song in a folder with others from the same album. They are all .m4a, and there are working files that are both larger and smaller than the song that is not playing. It plays fine in other programs. There are others, as well, that won't play.

I have tried looking this up, but all of the answers I'm finding are from years ago. I have the latest version of MMW, free version. I have also copied the following files in to the MMW installation folder, just in case it helped (because it was suggested for an older version):

WMVCORE.DLL
WMVDECOD,DLL

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

So I just tried to do that and got these 2 errors:

"We encountered a problem (cross-site request forgery detected); please try again"

"Sorry, we encountered a problem (invalid department). Please start over."

File might be too big. Upload to a file sharing like Dropbox and include link to file in Support Ticket.
