MM.db +10 Gb

Maxed out my mediamonkey db it´s now 10 Gb LARGE

any thoughts on this pls .... maintenance takes 4 hrs at least - full maintenance a whole night
sometimes crashes

any way of compacting 215 000 songs/albums thx

Would you mind sharing the DB with me? I suppose that it should has a reasonable size to upload when ZIPed or RARed.

Tried to compress into ZIP archive but it stays above 10 Gig

probably a lot of albumart saved into the tags... defragmentated the file ... dead links removed ... id tags conform

The database file doesn't have any Artwork. It's all text information about your files. This is why it's so odd you have such a large size. What ends up taking space would be Lyrics and Comments as those can have large text values.

Are you sure the MM.DB file is 10GB?
