MM not syncing all of my songs

I just purchased MM gold yesterday I have over 3000 songs on my descktop computer and when trying sync the songs
it only syncs like 500 I'm getting frustrated.
Majority of the songs are in the iTunes folders if that would help thanks hopefully somebody can help me with this.
