CD Audio Burning Problem - Two Songs Meld to One

Post by Sir Loin »

I have burned 5 disks and on every one there are two songs, not ever the same two, that make a single track, half or part way through the song just starts and continues as another song. I am trying to fill up a dis so I've got 21 songs somewhere around 1 hr, 16 sec, I select the mp3's from my MM collection and say burn, I even add the 2 second between track option, still can't get one that doesn't screw two songs up.
Any suggestions?

Which version of MediaMonkey and are you burning an Audio or Data CD? Did you check the original files to make sure they don't exhibit this problem?

I'm using MM ver 4.1.20.1864, and I'm burning an audio CD, for playing on any CD player, the songs play perfect from my MM program through my computer speakers and on my iPod that I sync with MM.

Hi,
Can you please try to disable on fly burning and/or burn it using track at once?

I'm not sure why, but it made a perfect CD after I posted this issue. I'm still not happy with the volume levels because one of the songs comes from a different era, but after reading some other posts, I think I might have that resolved issue as well.
Thanks for having an awesome forum and being retro-active on this, I appreciate the MM level of service!
I'll keep you posted if the issue returns.
