@Teknojnky - yes I noticed this the other day but there is nothing that I can do about it. They should only trigger with ALT but appear to trigger without. I cannot find another way to add accelerators manually so for now that will have to do.

Having checked the specs it's only types 1 and 2 which have to be unique. Here are the types:
http://www.id3.org/id3v2.4.0-frames.txt wrote: Picture type: $00 Other
$01 32x32 pixels 'file icon' (PNG only)
$02 Other file icon
$03 Cover (front)
$04 Cover (back)
$05 Leaflet page
$06 Media (e.g. label side of CD)
$07 Lead artist/lead performer/soloist
$08 Artist/performer
$09 Conductor
$0A Band/Orchestra
$0B Composer
$0C Lyricist/text writer
$0D Recording Location
$0E During recording
$0F During performance
$10 Movie/video screen capture
$11 A bright coloured fish
$12 Illustration
$13 Band/artist logotype
$14 Publisher/Studio logotype

I'll add a counter so that it adds the first image found as type 3 and then the next as 4, etc.

@A_Disciple - if DiddeLeeDoo's suggestion of clearing out Scripts.ini and trying the installer again does not work, email me. I will create a debug version for you so that we can find out where this is failing.

New version (2.0) is a completely new version. It has been compressed into a single script file. For this reason you will need to remove the old script files:
- Scripts\GoogleArtFinder.vbs
- Scripts\GoogleArtFinder2.vbs
- Scripts\Auto\ToolbarArtFinder.vbs
- Scripts\gaf.ico (move to Scripts\Auto\gaf.ico)

The installer will update the ini entries for you, although you'll need to do this manually if you're not using the installer. It will not delete the old files, only create the new ones.

Auto\GoogleArtFinder.vbs

Very nice as always Trix!

The only comment I have at the moment is concerning the 'autorun' part, in that if you manually drag and drop, it updates all the tracks in the album.

But if you use 'save image' hokey, then it only updates the track.

Perhaps the most appropriate behaviour would be:

Autorun, album node, multiple selected files (within the same album), get updated as an album (all tracks in the album)
Single selected files, only update the selected file

Just my personal preference, maybe others could comment on how they use the script.

And up to you of course.

Trixmoto I removed all data from previous versions and used the installer inscript for 2.0 - The window pops up with a google search page :) ,

but then I get the following error:

After I hit "ok" the following pops up:

And then it just sits there on the google search page. If I go to the next song, the same thing happens.

@Teknojnky - I think this will be a simple fix and MM will do the hard work for me. If not, I'll do the hard work myself! :)

@A_Disciple - You need to have MM2.5.2 installed to use this new version.

Other than the accelerator issue (I saw you posted on script wishlist, thanks!), I think You've reached a state of Perfection with this script!

hi
one wish
i have tested you script, and it works nice as far as i have seen.
I would wisd that it automaticly search and add, by some criteria if a song does not have album art of any kind already.

just to keep you working :)

@Paven - you mean you want a script which downloads album art in batch? This is not a good idea because the script would not know if it had found a sensible image or not. The script (if Auto:On) will automatically show when you play a track without artwork.

@DiddeLeeDoo - think you posted that in the wrong thread! :)

@trixmoto
Perhaps ther is an more reliable source than Google..
but, i don't care alot if som images get wrong,
a similar situation
i use Minilyrics for my lyrics and well some times it way off, still nice when its right.

So far Google is the most reliable source I have found which gives you easy access to the images. I'll look at a batch script, but no promises! :)
