Song order

Post by pushpull »

When I play songs on MMA, they do not play in the proper album order, as they do in MM. The images below show the difference in song order. One is a screenshot of the folder that the songs are in with their correct order. I can't account for the difference. As you can see, the song Cold Hearted, is first in MMA but it is fifth in the folder, which is the proper order for the song.

(EDITED FOR IMAGE CORRECTION, THANKS PEKE, HOPE THIS IS BETTER)

Hi,
Your screenshot can't be shown, "Invalid Session key" which usually means that you have not copied public link but your session link to file.
Best regards,

You may have used Random Play at top right of screen. Instead, long press, select files and then use Play Now at bottom left of screen.

Thanks for the response Lowlander. The only thing I can find that relates to the "Random Play" you mention is the "Shuffle" which is turned off. I don't see anything in the upper right except for the vertical dots that open up the menu for "Sleep Timer, Equalizer, etc", and the search icon. I checked the Wiki and there is shown a "quick shuffle" icon in that location for the playlist, but I suspect the Wiki is out of date regarding this matter in relation to the current version. Below is a screen capture of the folder prior to song selection and a capture of the same folder in Windows Explorer. The order is not in agreement.
