[SOLVED] use Directory name to populate Album field?

Post by elmerbumpkin » Sun Sep 01, 2019 7:32 pm

Hello, I want to fill in the missing ALBUM field using the directory name that the files are located in. Across about 4500 files, so I want to automate/batch this operation.

I've poked around the stock 'files to edit' node but not finding what I want to do.

Anyone have any ideas or places to poke around?

Thanks!

Hi,
In Files to Edit you should have Node Missing Album.

There you can select all tracks -> Right click on one -> Auto Tag From Filename and in Mask press F1 for help that will explain how masks are used and how to format and the best fay to utilize both Path and filename format.
