Duplicate Content Failing

Post by ianw »

So I know I have duplicates, as after moving around my music and having to split it into smaller pieces, I know some parts of it got copied to different drives etc.

Sorted a nas out, so now all 1.1TB of music is in one place. I'm sure about 50% are duplicated.

However after running 8 hours of duplicate content analysis, MM is saying no duplicates...

Duplicate Titles, 6000+ but lots of tracks named track one are not going to help me.

If there is a primer on auto identifying that would also be great.

Cheers, thanks in advance.

This option creates a digital signature.

If you have not already set this option, you will have to reload the library (File> ADD / Rescan files to library) and select the folder to scan. Time expenditure for 1 TB: I don’t know!
Restart MM after rescan

Double signatures can be found under "Duplicate Content"
