Guys and girls hi.
I listen to quite a few podcast and my wish is to organize podcast subscriptions in separate folders. After some fiddling with options i havent find out how to do that.
So my questions are: Is there a option to organize Podcast subscriptions or downloaded podcasts in folders automatically, example: for this and this individual podcast subscription, after it has been downloaded , move it to example: folder called Science and Technology.
Thank you for this wonderful program and sorry for my lack of knowledge but i am totally new to mediamonkey.
Cheers!

The setting can be found at Options > Downloads/Podcasts

Re: Organizing podcasts in folders
You use a variable. So, for example,Guest wrote:Ok, but there is only option for all podcast subscriptions not individual, or am i missing something?
C:\Users\Sol\Podcasts\<Podcast>\<Date> - <Title>
Will save each different podcast to it's own folder, where the filename is: "Date - Title.extension" in those folders for each episode.

Organizing podcasts in folders
I would like to organize each podcast I subscribe to into a separate folder
I read thread below but still do not understand how using a variable allows me to accomplish this
Can someone please provide a step by step description?

Re: Organizing podcasts in folders
The \<Podcast>\ variable does this. It takes the Podcast name to create the folder.

Re: Organizing podcasts in folders
That's a global setting that lumps all podcasts into a single folder
I want to organize each podcast into its own folder
I want to organize each podcast into its own folder
Re: Organizing podcasts in folders
Which is why you use \<Podcast>\ so each Podcast Subscription is in it's own folder. There is no setting of Path per Subscription.
