MM removes album art on play

Hi
Not sure if this is a bug in MM or in a script, but MM seems to remove album art from the tag as the track is played. This happens randomly, and I don't know when or why.

These scripst are installed:
- Batch album art tagger
- Tray controller
- RateAccurate
- Browse by art
- Embedded Minilyrics

Anybody knows whats up?

Have you checked the properties of a file it happened to? Did the album art dissapear all together or does it still show having album art without actually showing the image?

In which version does it happen? Can you try to create a debug log as described in the bug forum?

I'm guessing that album art isn't actually being removed, but that you're having the same problem described by Paulmt at: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=11474

Does sound as though the issue you are experiencing svenni is the same I was also seeing.
I don't have the problem now. Originally I had all art saved externally (not saved in the tag) I then decided to save in tag would be better and changed the settings accordingly, then the problem started. I have since removed all external art and have been progressively re-tagging my library. To make life easier for you (I chose not to regrettably) there is a script available called AlbumArtTagger

The latest version will embed external art or extract embedded art etc.

Are you using MINILYRICS plugin?

I've found that sometimes I lose album art after lyrics are embedded by minilyrics... not sure if its minilyrics messing up the album art or MM misreading somehow after the lyrics embed.

Yes, I wondered this also. I had thought it could be MiniLyrics which I do have installed or, web browsers searching artist info. possibly interfering with MM processes. However I am not having any problems now, with those scripts still in place so am assuming that these did not cause my issue.

Hi again
I use version 2.5.3.968 and embedded minilyrics (which is great!). I have most of my album art saved in tags. Right now the problem is gone, I'll post again if it comes back...
