Songshuffle : Automatic shift in library

Post by Sebastian78 »

When the song changes, why not have the library "selection" bar move to the song played. This way, it would be easier to know where in the collection you are...........

Then you could se if you are playing a song from an album, then you could turn off the shuffle if you want to listen to the rest of it.

OK, that came out wrong(ly)...........

I know you can have "Now Playing" and the library open at the same time, BUT it cramps the view on the screen. I would like the same "show the song you are playing" in the library view as well....

To get the songs in Now Playing into the Library View just click now playing in the tree or press F6.
Advanced Duplicate Find & Fix Find More From Same - Custom Search. | Transfer PlayStat & Copy-Paste Tags/AlbumArt between any tracks.
Tagging Inconsistencies Do you think you have your tags in order? Think again...
Play History & Stats Node Like having your Last-FM account stored locally, but more advanced.
Case & Leading Zero Fixer Works on filenames too!

You should check out the MonkeyRok script. It adds a sidebar with more information about the current song and artist.

Something I would like to see along this line is..

Currently when you select a song to play it shows that album art but if you hit next for the next song, which plays, but does not update the album art. It still show the first one you clicked on.

Am I missing something?

Are you talking about MonkeyRok, that should show the current playing song information.

If you are talking about the build in album art window you need to right click on it and select Album Art (Now Playing).

It's simple what he wants.

I want the same thing, he's talking about a feature where the library automatically goes to the currently playing song the same way it does in iTunes. Think of it as an automatic F6, instead of having to press it every time it just updates automatically with the now playing list.

Thank you, there is always a simple solution.......

But now all I want to to is remove the greyed out songs which are on my external HDD. It's annoying looking at a list where 90% of it is unavailable..

On this topic is there a way to jump to the track that is currently playing in the album artist context rather than the "now playing" list?

I do know of and use MonkeyRok, but I am curious :)

Right click on the songs and select find more from. There are various options like artist or album.
