Can MM not play AC3 and MP2 files?

Postby terrypin on Mon Oct 02, 2006 9:27 am

I'm getting into DVD making and have recently come across these new file types. Can MM play them? The play OK in WMP9, Media Player Classic, etc.

Yes, and to play ac3 files, check these Winamp2 input plugins:
- http://www.free-codecs.com/download/WinampAC3.htm ( http://ac3filter.net/ )
- http://www.softpedia.com/get/Multimedia ... namp.shtml

I'd install "ac3filter" (first link), as a Winamp2 input plugin for MediaMonkey. See here how to do this: http://www.mediamonkey.com/faq/index.ph ... artlang=en ("How do I install a plugin?")

Extra info: http://www.free-codecs.com/guides/How_t ... _files.htm
