What slidebar? The original iTunes 7 deskplayer only has those buttons I've defined in this skin. The only thing I've left out is the lower-right button which contains a menu with some playing-mode entries.

On the sidenote. The developers of iTunes seems lazy. They haven't updated the deskplayer with the new play-buttons. Seems that I have to make two skins now. One in iTunes 7 style, the other in iTunes 6 style. Which of these two do you people want? Actually, I think iTunes 6 is a bit more vibrant colored. Any thoughts?

I would if it was finished, but this is still W.I.P.

And as RovingCowboy mentions, the MediaMonkey site will change with MM3 and therefore your sticky thread is temporary.

I know that ITunes only has buttons and volume control, but MM3 has the track slider bar which makes it ALOT better. I was just wondering if it was possible to incorporate it into the ITunes Skin to make it more functional. I do realise that ITunes doesn't have it but it would be great if your skin did.

I have to agree with eagle4ever.
What about something like this?

Pretty much spot on getge, maybe with the Volume bar on the top and the slider on the bottom so it can be a little larger.

I don't know. It doesn't look too good in my view. A bit messy. What I would like is something like WMP11 which expands horisontally and shows information + SeekBar when you hover over it.

The background doesnt match the tracks in the little now playing view all the time, using newest version.

All these things will be fixed when I have time (and energy) to begin finishing the rest of the theme.

For now I'll work on a miniplayer which will look so close to WMP11 that you'll not now the difference.

I must say, that I am amazed how much "clearer" and how easy it is to read the track listings in this new iTuna 7 rip-off. This is what I have been looking for ever since I started (using very bad words) about "I like iTuna and WMP11 Better" bla bla bla....It's all in the way it looks!

So where's this project heading?

As most of you may know, there is a Multiplugin in iTunes which enables skinning. What it really does is really only change the resources. So my initial thought is to code the standard skin, and then it will be possible to just replace the images with other iTunes-skins elements. These skins will be done in no time, leaving only small tweaks left for the skinner himself.

BUT, I haven't got time yet to do this. I will do this, but I don't think it will be reachable within the 3.0-frame. This doesn't mean I won't make an iTunes skin, but it means that it won't look like the original yet. WMP11 is on thetop priority.
Best regards,
Morten

Hi Morten:

It's a really nice looking skin, I like it a lot!

My only beef is that the search bar is filled with a black strip, for some reason. I can still type my search term in it, but I can't see what I'm typing.

Any way to fix this?
