I love it!
Here is an idea, what about Removing Spaces at start and end of artist/albums/track? Becuase if you copy and paste track names, albums, alot of the time, there is a extra " " at the end...

Just an idea!

again, thanks for this!

edit:
Had another idea.
What about making a report with what tracks are missing?
*example*, I have "track 4" missing of "Damien Rice" on album "9"
could it say
Track 4 - Damien Rice - 9
*unless it queues last.fm or amazon, it will not now the track name*
and if you have the last track missing, it will not know! but hey! its better thank nothing!

Thanks!
1. Try Steegy's PersonalTagEnhancer script:
http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8044

2. Well, that could actually be a bit tricky. You could instead print a report based on all the tracks and then use the report as the base to know what to search for..

Another idea,
In "Albums With", when you click on a sub brantch, then right click on the album, could there be "Auto tag with amazon"?

That would be handy but I don't know how to implement it. In fact, I don't even think it's possible.

Expand the "Files to Edit"-node and you will find a new node "Tagging inconsistencies" at the top. Expand it and have fun.

And while you are in the "Files to Edit"-node look at the bottom where you find the "Advance Duplicate Find & Fix"-node.

For that problem I recommend steegy's ExtractFields script:

Could this be tweaked to make a report on the missing tracks? ( THE missing tracks, NOT the REST of the album)?
So it DOESNT do
Track 1 - Album - Artist
Track 2 - Album - Artist
Track 4 - Album - Artist
Track 5 - Album - Artist

but just Track 3 - Album - Artist...

Yes. it's possible but I can't use the logic within the script to find the tracks(s) in question so I would need to write a completely new script with reversed logic to cater for it and that's something I'm not longing to do. I'm not even good at writing report scripts. However, I'll think about it, but no promises.
You , or someone else, are of course free to write such script yourself!

Anyone up for a challenge?

Do as I did, read a tutorial and look at other script. Also see the wiki where there are examples and other very good stuff.

Wiki:

Tutorials:
http://www.w3schools.com/vbscript/default.asp

And google has plenty more.

The best way is to study other scripts. But begin with the small ones and make minor changes to them just to see what happens. And of course ask here if you get into trouble also search the forum and look at Steegy's "Scripting resource page".

Good luck!

Do you use notepad/wordpad?
or is there something with a bit more color in it (like on the wiki?)
