Suggestions are always welcome. What I might do is hide the image until it has passed the criteria, that way you won't see it briefly before it disappears.

Then some people could think: "What takes it so long". In case if you going to hide the image, you need some kind of message, e.g. "Looking for the image with the specified parameters. Proceeding with image 5", changing then the number to 6, 7 etc.

EDIT: Chinese and Japanese is not supported (instead of 听遍中国系列之吉林音乐 you are getting only "??????????"). Would be nice to enhance.

Getting quite a few errors between this script, and the GENRE FINDER script.. wonder if they are related?
See post on the Genre Finder forum...

this scripts error says:
Error # - 2147418113 - SongsDB.SDBDatabase
[SafeCall Exception]: Error: Starting a transaction while some query is open. Running queries are:
SELECT Songs.*
FROM Songs
WHERE (Songs.IDAlbum= 27569)

(C:\Sources\MediaMonkey 311\MP3Datab\SQLiteDB.pas, line 209)
File: "C:\Progra~1\MEDIAM~1\Scripts\Auto\BatchArtFinder.vbs", Line: 1950, Column 4

Happens all the time..

so, in essence, there is a problem running both BatchFinder and GenreFinder at the same time (which would occur if I set both scripts to automatically "find" their respective genres/art at the onset of each file playing...

so turning off one or both of the automatic settings and running either or both manually should fix the problem?

Plugging MSInet into the search box at the lower left corner of this page yields all the posts in this thread where that is mentioned.

One of those is this one:

ummm. I think you meant upper left, but, the point is still valid. Search in topic is a great forum function, especially for long threads.

No, I meant lower left. At least that's where it is on the skin I'm on.
