people people people.
it takes time to even test the application before they send it out for alpha testing to us.
then with all the different hardware config's of ours that use it. there are bound to be errors that need fixed.
the final RC for 2.5.5 took several months. and it had 3 beta's before that.
and that was with the known code and fairly stable one.
the new code is just that a new code for the player how long do think it is going to take to work the bugs in all the config's of ours out before they can release the completed stable version of mm3.
your all acting like kids in front of a toy store window at christmas time.
calm down and you will be plesently surpised. just the same as i will.
in other words chill dude ya got to wait for the big wave's they'll come and then you can get your chance to ride the big one, but ya gotta wait dude.

Depends how much tweaking is required to get it right.
There could well be several Alpha and Beta versions.

The best to determine how MM releases works check last
RC structure and see what is the frequency of releases and amount of things we do. Also note that there will be Alpha->Beta->Release Candidate->Final.
Also please be aware that this last RC took longer as it is last in 2.x brand so we wanted to clear all known bugs and give users of 2.x license clear stable release.

Well then. Not later than a week, that means the 17th which means you have 2 days. Good Luck!

Possibly a little premature to ask, but I was just wondering how long people think the release cycle, from alpha to final release, will take. MM3 just looks so good, and it will be the only priority of the developers now MM2 is done and dusted, so fingers crossed that it will be sooner rather than later!

MM3 comes as final after all known bugs will be solved and all features we need have in MM3 will be in.

Of course, and I wasn't suggesting that you should hurry up by any means - I just wondered how long a release cycle normally takes, or if there is no 'normal' in these circumstances.

I wonder if once MM3 fully comes out MM2 will be called MM classic?
