Well I'm glad this script is now working for you. The debug mode will undoutedly help other people as well, so it's a positive thing anyway!

Yes, any single played track on the album should stop it from being selected.

Hi!
Thanks for the explanation! Now i can set it up properly
If i understood it correctly then memory only shows what saved?
Maybe change capacity to Memory slots. It makes more sense since they are relates IMHO.
One thing i've noticed thou is that for some reason it picks very often the same songs from an album. Even with min. rating set to 0.
What i'd like to ask is if it could calculate the avg played count per album and play all the tracks that are below that average until they reach average. If all songs are average times played then it should pick any song and after that do the average thing again
This would also help people to hear through their whole collections
Is it also able to make Earliest a relative age? Like X month or X weeks.
Thx,
Red

Your idea about the average play count is interesting. It goes against the idea of the script, which is to hear whole albums in order, but then so did the "3 in 1" mode that was requested so I'll certainly look at added this option for you.
I will add options to set earliest in a relative way - this certainly sounds sensible!

i think 'unrated' would be a better description than 'unknown'trixmoto wrote:@fizzjob - 0 is Bomb, Unknown is -1.

I used "Unknown" to be consistent with MM. Once MM3 has reached beta and the database structure has stabalised then I will invest some time in updated as many of my scripts as possible to be MM3 compatible.

I think you can use the new Auto-DJ Scripts framework for Auto-Album DJ...
This script will not be able to be replicated using that new alpha 4 functionality (no idea when the release of it will be). This is because the new script type allows the scripter to select a single track to be queued next, whereas this script queues all the tracks in the album.

So the devs could be asked to add this functionality...trixmoto wrote:This script will not be able to be replicated using that new alpha 4 functionality (no idea when the release of it will be). Yes it would be really great to be able to enqueue multiple songs since this could also result in less internet traffic if you get data from some servergege wrote:So the devs could be asked to add this functionality...trixmoto wrote:This script will not be able to be replicated using that new alpha 4 functionality (no idea when the release of it will be). And your script would not need to run that which is nice if it takes some time > 1s to get songs to enqueue
