you should have got a .msz file.
just put that msz file in to the folder called skins,
located at
c:\program files\whatever folder you put mm 3 in\ skins
then just start media monkey 3,
go to the menu bar then go to the word tools. click
on that and the drop down menu should show you
the options. click on the word options.
the panel shows up you just use the panels directory tree
go to the skins in it. then click on it, on the right
you will see on the panel the choices of skins you have
in the folder select that skin and it should change to that skin
the just click ok and use the skin.
if you got a folder in a zip file when you downloaded it.
just unzip that folder and place the whole folder in the skins folder like you do the .msz file. monkey will see the folder
just as it does the .msz file.

Well, there is no MSZ file in the unzipped folder... only png, mskn, ini and bmp's.... I use the download link listed in Morten's first post: http://www.diskusjon.no/index.php?act=A ... &id=138865
I must be doing something wrong...

sorry for the mix up but doing what
onkel_enno said to do will fix the trouble.
it seems morten FORGOT
to rename the file to an msz file after he zipped his folder up.
Morten
it would be easier if you zip your files up for your skin.
then change the name to a .msz file
then rezip that up for downloading from the internet.
then all anyone has to do is unzip the msz file and put it in the skins folder.
that is what winamp has done for years either upload the wsz files or upload a zip file that only has the wsz file in.
most are use to that way. when you do the folder thing they come by get your file and unzip it all the get is all the skin files
which if they are not a skinner they don't know what to do with them.
you don't have to do it the extra way of zipping a msz file for download but it is easier and nicer for the non skinners.

monkey hi fi
kos i seen onkel_enno had posted his reply.
and since i had said to put the whole folder in the skins folder
in that long reply i just removed it an went and downloaded mortens skin file again to make sure what was being downloaded.
morten just tell the zip file to remember the path then zip the msz up from inside the skins folder.
