Hi Jock

Easy steps:
  • Click this link: http://trixmoto.net/files/JustListAlbums12.exe
    and save it on your disk somewhere.
  • When it finish to download, click Open to run the installation. If it don't ask you to open it, locate the file JustListAlbums12.exe where you saved it, and open it.
  • Once installed, close MediaMonkey and open it again. The script will be available through the menu File->Create Reports.

Thanks for that. Worked a treat.

I supply installers for all my scripts, so there is no need to manually modify the program. Some people prefer to manually install the scripts which is why I often provide the code on the forum as well. This also means that when scripters search for a method or property they might find my script and it might help them with whatever they are trying to do.

I got quite lazy and stopped doing it, but I am trying to make sure that I'm doing it more often now. I know I've found it useful when I've searched and found other scripter's work.

Hi Trixmoto

I really like this little script and use it every so often.

Is it possible to have it check whenever it's a compilation album and if so, list the songs with a different mask?

Example:

Single-artist albums:
Mask = "<Artist> - <Album> (<Tot>/<Max>)"
TrackMask = "<Track#>. <Title>"

Compilation albums:
Mask = "<Album Artist> - <Album> (<Tot>/<Max>)"
TrackMask = "<Track#>. <Artist> - <Title>"

It will then be perfect. 8)

This is a nice idea. I'll see what I can do for the next version.

This script hasn't been converted to MM3 yet, but have no fear Trixmoto is studiously working to convert all his scripts for MM3.
