Under the compability settings, are "Force iTunes-style folders" and "Trim path and/or filename length to 31" checked? If not, check them and try loading the iPod again.

What are you asking? You configure the iPod plugin under Tools -> Options -> Device configuration, then pick your iPod plugin and hit configure.

If you're using your ipod as a flash drive to store files, try to move that folder holding your files to another drive on your computer and leave the files that are default for ipod... mine played again normally, i have ipod nano 1st gen (4GB)

I've had the same problem! My ipod was working great with MM until I upgraded to the latest version of MM and I decided to delete all of my music on the ipod and add new music. Interestingly enough, music I had loaded prior to the upgrade still work but not any music I added afterwards. At first, I thought it was because I was using ''send to ipod'' instead of synchronizing it through the menu. That didn't change anything. I checked that it wasn't my ipod, since I was able to sync it through itunes no problem.
