I finally got connected and re-synced - not sure what actually worked but kept closing MMA and restarted phone and tried and tried again. This is what happened when I got the previous update and after making the initial connection it was fine. Very strange

Go to the android play store and get the free avg system cleaner or the free ccleaner to help with the same kind of register errors as the desktop gets.

I think i have to go back to usb sync as it NEVER failed... well except in the early days of mma when things were a bit dicey all ways around
And why doesn't wireless sync note on MMW that something is happening?? Oh well .. back to usb

Although I do find this interesting .. in mma go into options, scroll to Sync Locations/Settings. Just be low that it shows
Sync server: MediaMonkey Library (DSIGHPDESKTOP)
Which would be right. But if I tap Sync Locations/Settings it goes off to find the server and never finds one. It does popup with a message "If you haven't yet installed ...."
So why doesn't it find the server??? something wrong between mma 343 and mmw 1791

I think that this problem comes down to when the *server* is also running a vpn connection to my client in Seattle. As mentioned I have not see this before but also haven't been running wifi sync for more than a couple of months. Guess this is another instance of mmw getting lost with the connection.

funny...I'm finding Wi-Fi sync to be the better option so many times (I test with a variety of devices, some of which have poor MTP implementations).

I think this seems to be an issue with every new release of MMA and it takes a lot of attempting to connect and turning wi-fi off and on and closing MMW and re-opening and then finally (and it's usually just after you post an update here!!), it connects and then it always connects, every time.
The recent update from 2nd December (I think) was the same again but did not take as many attempts and I am now able to connect once again

We've made some additional changes in build 352 that may resolve these connection problems. If you still experience the problem please post a debug log ID and:
1) Confirm whether MMA can connect to the MMW UPnP server (i.e. without syncing)
2) If that fails, confirm whether MMA can connect to another UPnP server
3) If that fails, confirm whether a third party UPnP client (e.g. Bubble UPnP) can connect to the MMW UPnP server or to another UPnP server
4) Confirm whether rebooting the device solves the problem.
Thanks!

Just By accident I discovered the Issue with failing to sync.
I have MM 4.1.5.1719 On a windows 7 64 bit machine
My Phone android 11.0.7.0311
What I discovered that it would sync then stop. I check my computer and check my service. MediaMonkeyService would start but wouldn't sync. I restarted the phone and system would not sync. But If I Restart the service and wait about a minute and sync now it would download any new music that I downloaded to Media. I hope this will help other users. Still trying to see how is the services are stops. But it works for now.

Left off a detail that is needed If I resync it would failed. Click on Options and select sync server. If fails it would say searching. That when I would restart the service. The server would be found. Sorry about that. I hope it work for others.
