Hi,
Haven't tried it again but I needed to rollback the update on two PCs and and I blocked it on third due the fact that it caused a lots of incompatibility with various software and even some problems with older hardware I have.
Will see if there is anything we can do.

The distortion is fixed in 1842 but now the thumbnail is being blended with the taskbar colour.

@Peke - Hi, I can confirm this bug has been fixed in the MM 4.1.18.1848 beta that's just been made available - many thanks for this.
This also fixes this bug that lowlander posted for me a couple of years back:
