I hear the audio quality of the Lyra is pretty poor. I think they transcode everything to a low bitrate MP3 before transmission, and there's no digital output on the receiver. There was a site somewhere online that had a few details - a Google search should dig something up.

Hi Guys. I have a lyra wireless rd900w and am very pleased with the output quality. I was a bit disappointed with the lack of support for MM and Winamp unti I found a third party driver for the lyra wireless. It adds new features and support for MM, Winamp, and several other players. Check out http://www.hendersonsoftware.com/products/lye

Dropped or Interrupted Signal

Does anyone know what I can do to stop this horrible interruption in the stream of music to Airport? I've changed channels on my Airport to test, but that doesn't seem to make any difference. Randomly, the stream just gets halted, then returns, and often it actually stops altogether. Sometimes there is an error message 1005, or something like that. It is driving me crazy.

Thanks in advance, everyone!

I had a lot of trouble too with my airport. I tried EVERYTHING on the apple site and forums but to no avail.

However on a whim recently I updated my wireless driver and this resolved the problem. I was surprised as it is a new Laptop (sony Vaio).

Anyhoo I hope this helps. The airport is a great product when it works.
