As usually, feedback is appreciated! :D
Thanks Pablo for the Media field... my MM cataloging dream (need!) has been fulfield. In total bliss, I can die now. ;-)

I tried to use this mask from the Magic Nodes examples

Code: Select all

Complete albums|icon:bottom level\<album artist|min tracks:5>\<album|min tracks:5>
but I get this error:

What's going on here?

You're right, there's an access error. I'll look into it. Thanks for the report.

Who is the culprit, my mask or your script? ;)

The script, definitely. The min tracks: qualifier seems to be totally broken  . I'll try to fix it soon though :D .

It was easier than expected, already fixed  . The corrected version has been uploaded to the website. Direct link for downloading: http://students.washington.edu/~shmerki ... es.1.3.vbs .

Now it works :D

Is it possible to disable the VBScript Dialog when I click on a node?

See my post above.
Line 1214 -> clear it or type a ' in front

This works too  :D

Is it possible to eliminate the unknown node?

Edit:

OK, I got it. "unknown:no" is the answer. I think I have to read the tutorial ;)

I use this mask

Code: Select all

Label|icon:standard|child of:genre\<Publisher|unknown:no>\<album artist>
to show als labels and the corresponding artists.

The icon for the different labels is a CD. Now I just want to change the CD icon. The other ones are OK. How can I do this?

You can't change the icon from MM, but you're right that in this case the icon doesn't match the field... I'll see if I can find a better one :) .

THe following query from the examples doesn't seem to work with MagicNodes 1.3:

Involved people\<involved people|trim:1>\<involved people>

Error:

There was a problem querying the databasae:
07002:[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Too few parameters. Expected 1

If I choose "Ignore":

Error #-2147418113 - SongsDB.SDBDBIterator
Field 'Count_Unknown' not found
File: "C:\Program Files\MediaMonkey\Scripts\Auto\MagicNodes.1.3.vbs", Line: 1148, Column: 24

If I choose "Cancel":

The mask defining this Magic Node produced an error. Edit the mask and try again. (The error probably resides in the filter: or SQL filter: qualifiers)

Thanks for the report, I'll look into it.

Update: The bug has been identified. Solving it completely looks hard, but a partial solution that adresses your particular example will be posted soon.
