According to the first post in this thread upcoming tracks must be set to 1:

-Install the latest beta of MediaMonkey (this has been tested with MediaMonkey 3.0.3 Beta 1, though it should also work with MediaMonkey 3.0.2)
-Double-click the downloaded file, and agree to install
-Go to Tools > Options > Auto-DJ and enable the Auto-DJ
-Set the Auto-DJ to Add 1 upcoming track to the Now Playing list
-Choose Add Tracks from: Last.fm DJ, and press configure to change settings
-Click OK until you exit the Options panel, and then Add a single track to the Now Playing list that you wish to seed your playlist, and start playing the track.

doesnt happen to me with winamp. happens with mm for all the songs...
According to staff at last.fm, it's not plugin related:

Hi, Sakurakessho,
no problems here on a Vista Home Premium PC. Most of the problems I am facing are network related, not PC related. Whenever the wireless network is working properly, my tracks are being scrobbled.
Regards.

I'm running into the same problem - running Windows XP, MediaMonkey 3.0.3.1148 and Last.fm Scrobbler version 1.0.1.12. The currently playing track shows up on Last.fm as 'now listening' but is not added to the history after it's finished playing. My Windows Vista computer with the AudioScrobbler plugin installed scrobbles just fine so it must be an issue with this particular plugin not sending some 'play completed' signal correctly or something, that's my guess. Any help here? :)

After installing (just the first download for now), it looks like installs. I get the prompt in MM to install it and it says it was installed successfully.

I can't find last.fm in my tools, options.

Am I looking in the wrong place?

Also, the second download (for the auto-dj), doesn't seem to have an install file, do I just copy the contents of the zip somewhere?

Cheers!!

Try looking under Player->General Plugins for the options. I don't use the other so can't speak to it.

Thanks for the reply.

I don't have anything listed in the 'general plug-ins' tab.

Interesting development...

Is your http://www.last.fm/settings/ Time Zone off by an hour? Could be because of DST.
