You need to post these questions in the Magic Nodes forum in addons section. You will get much quicker response

You should combine your filters with the "Top <ID:1> (weighting) rated (complete) Albums" mask. Here is its Filter:willyvds wrote:When I expand the node, it shows the list of 20 albums.
Now what I would like is that I can see all 20 albums at once. However, when I select "show all node" it shows all my classical albums, not just the top 20.
When I select "show files in filelist" (on the top level), it show some 150 albums.
Code: Select all
Songs.IDAlbum IN (SELECT IDAlbum FROM Songs WHERE Rating >= 0 <If|Caption:Only complete albums having number of files equal to maximal track #|Value=1|ID:2>AND IDAlbum IN (SELECT IDAlbum FROM Albums INNER JOIN (SELECT IDAlbum, Count(*) AS CntFld FROM Songs GROUP BY IDAlbum, DiscNumber HAVING CntFld = Max(Cast(TrackNumber As integer)) AND CntFld >= <Number|Caption:Min. number of files per disc|Value:5|MinValue:1|MaxValue:20|ID:3>) AS T1 ON Albums.ID = T1.IDAlbum GROUP BY IDAlbum HAVING Albums.Tracks = Sum(CntFld)) <End If>GROUP BY IDAlbum ORDER BY <If|Caption:Average file rating weighted by track length|Value:1|ID:4>Sum(SongLength * Rating) / Sum(SongLength)<Else>Avg(Rating)<End If> DESC LIMIT <Number|Caption:Number of albums|Value:20|MinValue:1|MaxValue:100|ID:1>)In a reply to one of my post it was suggested that Magic Nodes was not the tool I should be using and suggested "RegExp Find and Replace" (see http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... ce#p430618) and I'm happy to report that it resolved my issue.ZvezdanD wrote:The first post of this thread contains the Installation section and the link to the Web page of the add-on from where it could be downloaded.
That's what is being said by jgt1942. This has already been covered and is old now. See hereLowlander wrote:Magic Nodes doesn't edit files, for that you'll need RegExp Find & Replace.
Your entries are correctly sorted. You are sorting textual field, not numerical, so you have alphabetical order. Your only solution could be to set all numbers to have fixed number of digits, e.g:PoooMukkel wrote:But how is it possible to get this mask sort the entries correctly to the right numbers?
Thanks for answering. And I understand the problem... But why these folders are sorted correctly in Windows Explorer? Aren't the folders textual fields also?ZvezdanD wrote:Your entries are correctly sorted. You are sorting textual field, not numerical, so you have alphabetical order.
Could you post the screenshot of it?PoooMukkel wrote:why these folders are sorted correctly in Windows Explorer?
You are right. I don't know why Windows Explorer has such sorting, but in my opinion it is unexpected and incorrect. Total Commander doesn't have such sorting. My Computer node in MM Media Tree doesn't have such sorting either. And most importantly, SQLite, on which MM database is based, doesn't have such sorting.PoooMukkel wrote:Sure...
Well, I cannot remember if I did anything for that behavior either, but now when you mentioned it, I found that it has an option for that. I am just wondering which option is default in its Sort method combo box.PoooMukkel wrote:My Total Commander 9.0a has such sorting and I didn't do anything for that behaviour...
It is not currently possible, but I put it on my ToDo list. Thanks for suggestion.PoooMukkel wrote:But if it is not possible to have such sorting in my magic nodes then that's the way it is.
Thanks for putting this on the ToDo list.ZvezdanD wrote:...but I put it on my ToDo list. Thanks for suggestion.
