Okay, I think this is a good idea, too. I have a lot of images that aren't square and the white background on those just sticks out like a sore thumb. It would be cool if the background better matched the overall skin color thereby giving the docked album art window a seamless look within the whole skin.

It's really hard to tell what could be improved as it's almost perfect in my opinion.
I have some ideas but it should be test to see if it's really good ones.
And since i don't now how to modify skins...
Fist one would be to put a darker background for the album art panel.
Second one is to change the color of the scrollbars to match better general theme of you're skin.
Third: The statusbar at the bottom could be smoothed a bit.
And finally make custom icons for your skin.
( For the moment i use Kemie's silk icon set
http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... ight=icons
wich integrate very well with your skin( making a nice combinaison)
Let me know what you think
I'll put all 3 items on my 'To do'. I never made custom scrollbars because the Zune program had the default scrollbars and I'm not sure that I could design something better.
As far as the icons go, I sort of feel that icon packs should be left as separate packages from the skin. We'll see about it in the future though.

-Theme color change (see options panel, properties panel, Add/Rescan panel, etc.)
Let me know what you think of the changes.

Nice! Love what you did with the detailing and especially the album art panel background. Thank you!

Nice Skin as I already said but also ZuneSkinSP 1.5 doesn't look nice here...
I used PreSkin and it didn't work. Minimizing to MicroPlayer makes it look better but there still some problems (not correct vertical and horizontal size). And after a restart it looks the same at the beginning (see screen above)...
Would be great if that could be fixed... Do you need any other informations?

Thats odd, I can't reproduce it.

All I can really suggest then is that you try and pull the player out and then re dock it. I'm sorry I can't be more help, but I'm not sure what else to do. Hopefully someday this bug can get fixed

This s*cks... The skin looks really great and it's the only one with a nice small player...
Is any developer working on that bug?

its the bug that started in alpha 6 last may or june. and they are trying to find it and get it fixed a little at each time.
but not knowing just what is the cause of it, it is hard to find.
there seems to be several heads to that stream for the bug, and each is long.
but it can be worked around but that is not well liked because it allows the skin to stretch vert. and that will mess up the looks too. but its the only way to stop all the errors caused by locking the size. i gave up on locked sizes and went with the work arounds for it. if you see any skin of mine that i made or converted that looks like a small player from mm2 with a long stretched side remember the side also shrinks.

How annoying...
How can I remove the vertical lock to try that out?

remake the skin with the side to stretch.
then make the resize code for the first section of the player ini file. all one's like 1,1,1,1

I've found a good way to fix this.. finally!
I recommend that you uninstall the ZuneSkinSP prior to installing the new version so that the PreSkin can be deleted (it is no longer necessary

).
Ver 1.6
-kbps indicator added (original only)
-Timer display error fixed
-
Major ZuneSkinSP player improvement

Nice, seems to work!

Great!!!
Now that the worstproblem is fixed, some other suggestions:
1. Here it looks like the ring in the Zunebutton isn't perfectly centered. Is that intended? Also the play- and and the pause-icon are a bit too much on the right IMHO. It's not a technical problem like in the older versions and it's also not as bad, it's just a graphical thing.
2. Isn't it possible that the 'dot' on the seekbar starts at the beginning and not after about 25 pixel of the seekbar?
3. When you pause the music in MM, then you switch to another program and then back to MM the visualizer needs one or two seconds here to show again. Probably not really a skin but an skinengine 'problem'.
And don't understand me wrong. I already love this script - specially the SP-version. But there's always room for improvements!

I don't know. I think it looks kind of cramped where it is. The text is not on the same level as the track title for example; there's no space at the top of the text. Yes, I'm a complete neurotic when it comes to spacing, placement, order, and symmetry. Perhaps if the text were the same shade of grey as the artist name, it would lend the illusion of spacing and I would like it better.
