Small update!

What's new?
- System buttons on miniplayer. This means the mini-player is 100% the original one! (Well, it's still MediaMonkey. Luckily!)

MM runs very slow at ANY Miniplayer. I think it's a memory leak somewhere.

For me MM runs much slower with just the basic Itunes skin also, not just the mini player. Seems like there is some heavy graphics loading in this skin or something.

Skins looks really good though . Hope that you can fix the perfomance issues. BTW, found a small bug. When using the "Itunes" browser and selecting an item in one of the areas, the frames dissapear on the thwo other areas.

Maybe Petr can answer on the performance issues. I save the things as .png, maybe it's because of that.

Remember that I haven't taken the time to edit any other things than Player (Main-player) and FloatPlayer (Miniplayer). Will try on MicroPlayer (in the tray), but I don't think I'll update the rest of the skin before there is some documentations out. However, there might be some surprises in the upcoming weeks. I'm far from finished with this skin.

- Added iTunes Micro-player!
- Fixed performance issues to a certant extent.

Cool! Seems a little faster now, but still to slow for me to use. Looking forward to this skin being finished. Keep up the great work!

I doubt it's all my fault that the player is slow. I think it's the skinning module at this point. Remember it's an alpha running in debug mode. It's not the fastest monkey there is.

Love the mini and micro players.
One suggestion:
On the Desk Player when you click the volume knob the circle in the middle turns blue, but on both the mini player and the player it turns black... I'm not sure if it was deliberate or not.

Yeah, I know. It's how iTunes does it. Look at the buttons, they're also changed compared to the other players. However, I will make some optimalizations regarding states of buttons, but I want to have a base first to work from.

you got the micro players to show up???

i still can't get them to show they make room on the task bar but still don't show.

i thought it was a setting in my system i had to turn on but i can't find anything that is set to mess with that.

i just keep skinning them cause others might get them to work but that
is one part of the skin of mm3 i can't use.

To get it show up;

1) Right-click on Windows taskbar and activate "MediaMonkey Desk Player".
2) In my skin, press the system-button far left.
3) The player should show up nearly immediately.

it don't on any skin any skin just makes room for it on the task bar.

but the players don't show up. petr.. and me had several days of trying
to get it working on my system then i found that one site used java prompts did not work properly so i thought there is a setting that is wrong on my system but i can not find it.

i think if my computers worked 100% like they were to do i would faint.

if you mean mine i am not going to double post i got it in the other sticky skin thread.

i know what you wanted to do was well ment. but i believe when they release mm3 the site will change and mm2 will not be offered anymore.

which makes the different sticky threads unneeded. and most every one has their skins listed in the old mmskins sticky thread which will just be easier to rename back to mmskins. if they even have that stuff on the forum anymore. rusty said last year sometime that he was going to make a new site for mm3 so there are changes in store but what
kind of changes are unknown.

i don't want to do double posting in the forum i was told about that before by steegy i posted the same thing different months apart and he called me on it. so i tried to stop the double posting.


if your talking to morten9300 then maybe he thinks about the forum changing like i do?

but they went from version 1 to version 2 and all prior stuff was changed.
so there is a record of it happening so we're all just kind of laidback and waiting to see what we have to use next

Nice skin!! Only thing I would say is missing is the slide bar in the Desk Player, but still great. I got confused a couple of times which was which
