I have win xp sp3 with ie8 installed. I am having the same problem and the log file says something like "plug in error: not all variables ar".

Since the 11th of March I also have a problem with the Last.FM plugin i'm getting 2 error messages in the Log file.
I didn't change anything on my computer or something like that.

Due to some errors I have experienced the last weeks I reinstalled MM and all my scripts. Now LastFM works. 
So the IE8 thing seems not to be the main issue...

Log file you sent me showed outdated version. So reinstall latest version of MM and plugin fixes issue.

Can you please Compress and send "LastFM_Cache.dat" and "LastFM_Log.txt " directly to me?

I reinstalled the plugin first. I'm using windows 7 and since it's a beta you never know what's gonna happen. So I uninstalled the plugin, put mediamonkey in admin mode installed the pluging restarted mediamonkey with Administrator mode on and for now it's working again. I just upgraded to Vista 64bit yesterday. Installed IE8 (which is final now) before any other program. I installed MediaMonkey as a fresh intallation and then installed the Last.fm plugin. I got a handshake failure the first song I tried to play. Uninstalled IE8, no issues.
Guess I'm going to stick with the olllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllld winamp plugin.

This should be fixed in build 1231 and build 1.0.2.13 of the scrobbler plugin, due to be released soon.
