Is it just me, or do index-tracks with sub-tracks have a problem?

Say that I want to tag the following album:
http://www.discogs.com/Arturo-Benedetti ... se/2289646

Then the plugin only takes the sub-titles, like
1 1. Allegro Affetuoso - Andante Espressivo - Allegro - Allegro Molto 16:13
2 2. Intermezzo. Andantino Grazioso 5:29
3 3. Allegro Vivace 11:47

while I want the full song title, including "Concerto For Piano And Orchestra In A Minor, Op.54 " in the tag.

The full tag should be something like

1. Concerto For Piano And Orchestra In A Minor, Op.54 - 1. Allegro Affetuoso - Andante Espressivo - Allegro - Allegro Molto

and so on.

Is this possible?

Many thanks for a great plugin! :)

The script recognize and ignore index-tracks.

The tracks on the release aren't sub-tracks. This release have sub-tracks for better understanding.

I possibly add this feature in a future release.

Thanks for the reply. I guess I'll have to wait for a future version then, since almost all classical CD:s on discogs are separated into index tracks :)

Thanks again for your plugin ;)

Due to recent changes on accessing images at discogs, Discogs Tagger can't download any image. I'll will post a fixed version soon.

Hello,

I've uninstalled this script using the uninstall from tools, extensions but Discogs Tagger still displays it's name in the autotag from web options. How do I remove that, please?
PS There's nothing in Scripts.ini or Mediamonkey.ini that I can find.

I release a new version this weekend. I just try to integrate a image proxy.

UI bug in AutoTag from Web

Hello,

I have uninstalled the Discogs Tagger script for the time being, but there appears to be a bug in the UI of the Auto Tag from Web options, as 'Discogs Tagger' doesn't remove itself.

I have requested assistance with this on the thread for the script, but I've been ignored, so I'm appealing to a wider audience in an effort to solve this.

I need to remove it as people are clicking on it from time to time and, of course, it's throwing up an error message.

I've even placed a dummy type=3 entry in Scripts.ini, deliberately changing the name to test it and it's duly overwritten 'Discogs Tagger'. But when I remove that entry, 'Discogs Tagger' is back in the options panel of the Auto Tag from Web dialog.

Why is this thing persisting and how do I get rid of it?

Thank you.

I finally tracked this down. For the benefit of other users, the ini reference for this script is not stored in the User\Roaming folder but here:

Code: Select all

AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\MediaMonkey\Scripts\Scripts.ini
This entry was not removed when uninstalling v 5.18 of the script.

I'm glad to report, though, that the reference is properly removed when installing/uninstalling version 5.19 of the script (released 01/03/2015).

hey man, thanks for the great plugin! Would it be possible to ad the 'comment' field to the list of options for where to store information (release number, catalog number etc)? I use the comment to store information because Traktor automatically erases many of the custom fields in ID3 tags.

Hi guest,

thanks you for reporting this problem, but i haven't change the uninstall process between this versions.
i just ask google about virtualstore and windows 7. It's important, that you choose "Install only for me" when you install a program/addon. Choose this option to store the "user-data" in the folder "appdata/roaming/mediamonkey/...". Virtualstor will be used, if a program want to write "user-data" to the \Program Files (x86) Folder.
