Hi neonriddims,

the script use the comment field to store the comments from discogs, sorry.
But you can use RegExp Find & Replace 4.3 w/ 253 presets (2011-07-06) [MM2+] after tagging to move fields to the comment field. Hope it may help you.

The script stopped working for me. It shows the image and all the album info, but when I try to save the tags, nothing happens. No tag is changed, the image isn't updated, everything remains the same.

You used Discogs Tagger before? When did the problem occurred?

Yes, I used it previously. Been waiting for the cover image update and since I installed it, I can't save tags. I first simply installed on top of the previous script, using the installer file. When I noticed this, I tried uninstalling and keeping options, then reinstalling (always restarting MM in between). Didn't work, so I tried clean uninstall of script and reinstall, but still no change.

The info shows up, I can see the tags that should be changed (highlighted in yellow), I get the dialog box for saving the cover, but when I close it, the tags are all the same and the cover isn't saved. The only recent change in MM was just the update for this script.

A few further tests showed that amazon tagging still works properly. It's only discogs tagging that isn't working. I get a few script errors occasionally:
-Expected { to begin object, line 7258, column 3
-Control "" has no parent window

Could you please send me the Discogs_script.log ? You can find it here C:\users\username\appdata\roaming\mediamonkey\scripts

I've already sent some log files. As I've explained on the messages, the script itself works fine, as long as you wait 2-3 seconds before closing the auto-tag window (used to be much faster) for the tagging to occur. It's only a very minor inconvenience (though the same delay also seems to apply to ticking/unticking tracks, album, switching results, etc).

Thank you for the LOG-Files ! Please stop trying to get the error messages. Now i know why the messages pop up.
The script didn't get an json-answer from discogs (network problem, auth. problem, whyever) and send it to the json parser.
And the parser expected a { at the beginning.

So if you got the error message only one time, all should be fine.

I investigate later the other problem you reported.

i just ask google about virtualstore and windows 7. It's important, that you choose "Install only for me" when you install a program/addon. Choose this option to store the "user-data" in the folder "appdata/roaming/mediamonkey/...". Virtualstor will be used, if a program want to write "user-data" to the \Program Files (x86) Folder.

Therein lies the problem - I did install for current user only (I do that with all scripts). Everything else was in Roaming, but not the script.ini entry. This is on Windows 8.1

I just released a new version.

All cover-images will now be cached on my webspace.

I just update to release 5.20 and got an error message "error #424" Object required "ImageLocal" in line 4693 column 5.

Can anyone help me ? Is this a bug in the latest release?
