I think this is an add-on feature. As long as the hooks are there to do it, I would not spend time on this feature. I believe the core features are much more important.

... but I agree that there are far more pressing matters. There are dozens of bugs that should be fixed before any feature addition.

Are there any plans in this area? Would be nice to drag and drop ANY icon where I want it and as mentioned in the beginning, locking capabilities.
