This is insane and clearly states that the "guest" is mentally ill.
I'm supporting you 100% psyxonova and wish for a way to prevent the "guest" from getting the update. Btw, you got PM..

I have a problem. It seems that this plugin is sensitive when it comes to Internet. I often get a "time out". I set this setting at 5 seconds, but still lots of errors (with an error box, is an option I believe) and no added song.
If the plugin works it works strange!
From Nightwish to 3 Doors Down to Run DMC.
From Epica to Theatre of Tragedy to Trevor Rabin to Sarah Brightman.
What is there I can do?

Increase your timeout, 5 seconds its too small. Last.FM often needs more time to reply.
As for the songs it enqueues, SDj will take a list of artists from Last.FM and will add the most related artist you own. If you don't have any songs from a highly related artist then it will enqueue songs from artist that look and perhaps are irrelative. Last:FM data is based on user usage and not actual relationship of artist (eg. Suppose artist A and B have almost the same style but ppl who hear A also hear artist C and not B, then A and C will be highly related while A and B not).
So, as always i suggest this script only for ppl with large libraries (greater than 5000 songs) as those problems tend to disappear as library size increases.

Ok, thanks for the update! I'll try the new settings. Maybe the problem is that SDJ takes lower rated similar artists because higher ones are not in my collection (which is 6300 files).
The 10% is a setting that SDJ won't take the lowest rated similar artists? Or is it something else?!
EDIT
I tried (again) something. Cause I find this script really interesting, but when its working good

I had jean michel jarre playing, the next song was ATB (number 47 in the list of similar artists). But in the top 10 places I had 5 matching artists!
I still find it confusing that after an "easy" number of JMJ a "harder" number from ATB is playing...
Rating is set to "any", because I just started to (auto) rate tracks. All songs are in the "accessible" playlist...

Plz read the very first post of this thread to understand how SDj works.
Its logic is to add related artists in a random fashion to discover new music. If you want to force SDj to add highly related artists then change its option to only play artists that have a match > 50%.
I will try to add an option in future versions so that SDj will play the most related artist in ascending order so ppl like you could use it (meaning to use SDj for playing songs in a more straightforward way)
Thanks for commenting
Can't get it to work..

OK, I read through all 32 pages, and I'm still not sure what to do.
I have ScrobberDJ installed, and I have AutoDJ off. It appears to the SJ button is there. However, it doesn't go to another song! I play a song, a little bar pops up for a second under the MM then goes away, and it never seems to pick another song to play. I have Shuffle off as well. I'm using the latest script and the latest MM. Any ideas?
Not getting any errors. What am I doing wrong??

Enable debug option, run SDj as you did already 2-3 times, zip the ScrobblerDJ.vbs.log file inside MediaMonkey scripts folder and drop me an email so i can have a look at it...

Anyone interested in the IP address of the guy that impersonated psyxonova on
Frequelize This? I don't know what good it would do and I wouldn't know what to do with it. But maybe someone can have fun with it.

Unforunately, it's unlikely to be a fixed IP. The guy's clearly a nutter though, I refuse to get drawn in by his rude behaviour.

No need, I already now the IP but there is no reason to do anything with it...
Thnks anyway
