No, if the webservice isn't available then there is no workaround, unfortunately. It was one of my favourites too.

Is there an official statement of the shut down of it? Perhaps, it only has changed?

Well MusicIP no longer exist, it was bought by another company, and that company has no published API for it.

No, it'll only analyse the file as a single track. I'm not sure the webservice that powers it is really working any more either, sorry.

Is it possible to modify this script to use AcoustID and MusicBrainz, similar to this script, except run in batch mode?

I used this script all the time until PUIDs stopped updating.

I can't answer your question, but check out the new iTunes Monkey + AcousticID tagging script. It is pretty powerful.

hi All, I've just installed this add-on to MM4 but can't see where it is. Which menu list is it hidden in? Have I not something I should have in the installation process. Thx.

First, you have to select the songs from an album, then press CTRL-L.
Press the "Options"-Button in the higher right corner and choose the Tagging-Script you want.
