Every time it's about to add a new track in the now playing list (Querying Last.fm), I get the somewhat following message:
Scrobbler DJ: Could not access Last.fm, check network connectivity or Last.fm webpage status
Scrobbler DJ is adding a track from default playlist. I'm using the 1.26 beta version of SDJ and my MM version is 2.5.5.996. I have turned off auto DJ and shuffle, and I am online. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, aka firewall settings or possible MM access? I would love for this to work, it's such an awesome script! Thanks

Type this into your browser (
http://ws.audioscrobbler.com/1.0/artist ... imilar.xml ) , if the page opens then something must be blocking MM and scrobblerDJ. I'm not sure if it's enough that MM can access the internet maybe WSH must do it too (Trix you know anything about that?).

Make sure your timeout setting isnt zero.
Use a meaningful value (e.g. 15 sec)
If the problem persists enable debug mode and post the first 30-40 lines here.

RedX, yes I was able to open the xml file, thanks

After changing to the timeout setting to 15 secs and then to 20 seconds, I no longer see the original Scrobbler DJ error message, yet every now and then a MM dialog box appears saying that "Error executing script event." However, it seems that the original problem is gone and the MM script error box! Thanks for your help, I'm loving this script!!
My favorite media monkey script, by a long shot.

I just want to reiterate how much I love this script. It has really reinvigorated my enthusiasm for music listening. Having a music library of 7,000+ tracks (and growing every day) can get a little overwhelming, and this is the perfect way to make sure I am hearing a little of everything. It brings the "wow" factor back into the experience. How great is it to, all of a sudden, hear a great, unexpected, forgotten track (or maybe a great one that you've never heard)?
Praise be to psyXonova!!!

Hello, and congratulations for your script. I've discovered this feature in Listen Music Player, and was looking for something similar for windows. I guess you solved my problem.
I don't know if this has already been asked/suggested, but I have two suggestions, that IMHO would improve the script.
1 - Create a manual search option.
2 - Allow to add more than one track at a time.
Cheers

Hello again... still from the previous post ( I was too lazy to register

), I'm having some problems with ScrobblerDJ not finding artists with non-english characters, like Sigur Rós, and falling back to the default playlist. I've read in the changelog that this was fixed, but I guess it's still not working perfectly.

Having the same problem. No need to post the error message, it's the exact same as listed above. One thing I've noticed is that I only get the error with certain tracks. For instance, when the song played is "Fight Test" by The Flaming Lips, ScrobblerDJ queries lastFM and finds an appropriate song, no problem. But when I play "Twentieth Century Fox" by The Doors, I get the error message. And it's always the same. It will always work with The Flaming Lips, and never work with The Doors. Most tracks are giving me the error message. There are only a few that I've found that still work.
Please, someone help! I can't live without my ScrobblerDJ, and I'm not technically proficient enough to figure it out. ;(

Technojnky, is it working with all tracks? I'm still getting error messages. Like I posted above, it still works with certain artists, but not with others. Very strange.
