Thanks Peke - what I was hoping for was to be able to use the Last.fm top songs for matching artists to find the undiscovered "jewels" in the 16K songs I still need to weed through. My expectation was that since I configured to only select from that group of songs it would find any "hits" in that 16K file, I'd then be able to find those songs that should (could) be rated highly.Peke wrote:Answers:

This intendant behavior not bug. Last.fm DJ will always Search for best Rated Track On Last.fm to play next. From what you say you have similar taste to Last.fm and last.fm Recommended tracks are accessible e.i. 5 Star tracks. I either do not understand what you want to get from Last.fm or I think that Last.fm Script is not what you actually seek have you tried to set Auto-DJ to Playlist -> My 1/2 Star Playlist. Please elaborate.
Ok, so that's intended then? That seems a bit silly to me since the other plug-in allows you to set directories NOT within the library to scrobble.Peke wrote:Ok Answer Updates:
@All Others
Plugin Scrobbles only Tracks that are in Library as only tracks in library have Played# increased. Test: Copy some track outside MM to folder that is not In Library, navigate My Computer Node and play it. It will Be shown as Now Playing But Will Not be Scrobbled.
Not to harp on it, since you already are aware, but it's hard to verify because we have no idea what song it is. I'd like to think all the music in my library is well maintained so there shouldn't be any files without those very crucial fields filled out.Peke wrote:- 'skipping invalid tags' Means that Title/Artist/Album (If Selected) is Empty

I'll have to retest although maybe I should wait until you have a more detailed log file. It's definitely difficult to tell what's going on with it as it is now.Peke wrote:As you see all is scrobbled Ok.
Neither of those tracks are on the playlist in the screenshots you posted. Was that a different test?I just Recreted Your Settings and as Octopus Garden Started To play Oh Darling Got Scrobbled.
So you tested it both ways? Pressing stop and simply closing while playing?Peke wrote:Doesn't matter, in Both cases it scrobbled OK
Yeah, turned off all DJs, loaded a track, showed it "now playing", killed the Monkeyspacefish wrote:Have you tried scrobbling only one track in your now playing window (no autodj)?

spacefish wrote: D Rock,
What you want to do is see if the last track in the Now Playing window scrobbles. Let it play through, with no other tracks following (turn off Continuous if you have it on) and then go check your last.fm profile once the played counter is increased. You don't have to shut down MM. The last track simply doesn't scrobble until the next track plays. If you shut down MM without playing any new tracks, however, that last track will never scrobble.
