There already has been an answer and currently the scrobbler is still from MM3. For the MM4 scrobbler it's planned to be able to scrobble UPnP plays, which would make me very happy.

I am still wondering: will scrobbling to last.fm work when music is played through MM's UPNP/DLNA server? If i play a song on my PS3, streamed by MM's mediaserver, will it be scrobbled to last.fm?
This functionality would be THE reason to choose MM4 over PS3 Media Server for streaming my music

I entered it as

Could you please test also with XBMC or tVersity, they both uses same DLNA engine so that we could know whether the problem is in the engine or in MediaMonkey

Hi Ludek,
I have confirmed XBMC 10.0
cannot be seen by the Sony Blu-ray player either.
Cheers

Are there plans to enable multiple renderer profiles based on User-Agent? e.g. Roku Soundbridge can natively support different formats than Sony Blu-ray players. thx

1345: DLNA and WD TV Live does not see playlist content

I just posted this to the tech support ticket system...
Hi, in MM4 1345 with my WD TV Live as a client, when I open the playlist folder, and select the "Favorites - 1 Audio CD Worth (74 Min)" playlist, the WDTV shows the message "There is no media in the current folder". This does not happen with any other playlists.
In MM4, I can see the contents of the playlist fine.
The playlist is the stock standard playlist as distributed with MM4.
I have attached a debug log and a screen shot of the playlist details.

The Samsung UE55-C7700 LED TV shows the Media Player MM4 server and you can select artist, album and more. I then selects an MP3 or AVI, then get the error message "media type is not supported ".
The same is also on the BluRay player from Samsung BD-C6900.
By TwonkyMedia server the same files work on both devices.
1345: Artists will not be displayed.

In my Internet radio devices (Avox Indio Mini and X4-Tech IR-1200) the song title, album, and the bit rate is displayed correctly. However, the artist of each song is displayed as "Unknown".
If the same songs on the same devices on the TwonkyMedia server play, and then the interpreter will display correctly.

Please replace your current UPnP.dll by
http://happymonkeying.com/beta/UPnP.dll in your MM install folder and let me know if it fixes the issue.
If not then generate debug log and generate debug log also for the former device, it should give me a clue why is this happening.
Thanks!

Thank you, I fixed it as

Please, generate debug log for the Samsungs ("Samsung UE55-C7700 LED TV" and "Samsung BD-C6900") so that I could fix them too.
Re: DLNA Experience - Sony KDL-55HX800

My Sony TV, KDL-55HX800 does not "see" MM4 (1345). It also does not "see" XBMC.
The Sony TV has a NETWORK DIAGNOSTIC menu option, and when I run that, the TV then lists MM4 and XBMC, but with a status of "failed"
I have collected a debug log of starting MM4, turning the Sony TV on, doing a network diagnostic and then stopping MM4.
I have also taken a picture of the Sony TV diagnostic results.
I will post the files in the tech support ticket system for you to look at. Ticket # = QCB-457503.

Hello guys,
I tried to access MediaMonkey's DLNA server with my Sony Ericson Hazel today - no luck. After a long time searching it finally finds MediaMonkey Server but when trying to connect a "Unknown error" message appears. Don't know how to debug this stuff. The phone does not appear in MM4s connection history (Settings->media sharing->MediaMonkey Server->UPnP/DLNA server). So I guess there is something basically wrong. I use MM4 with default DLNA settings on a Windows 7 x64. No changes made.
Windows MediaPlayer's DLNA-Server can be accessed by the Sony Ericson Hazel without any problem.

Follow debug instructions here:
http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... ?f=6&t=341 Run the dbgview while trying to connect to the MediaMonkey server.
