The unicode support depends on the source, which one are you using?

I use this script "Batch art finder" and it leaves physical file in the folder. I don't want this file. I only want the cover in the tag....
So, it's safe to delete it? I have over 10000 albums without cover, and I don't want to tag this twice

What do you mean by source? MM is set to tag in ASCII+UTF-16 so I'm not sure which one us used for particular album but I never had any trouble with czech characters not showing properly either in MM or my iAudio mp3 player. Even when I use MM's internal "auto-tag from web" feature, the name encoding is correct. But when i use BAF it searches for wrongly encoded text as I wrote in last message resulting in no or bad results. So where is the problem?
EDIT:
Now I found that BAF script installs successfully when I run MM as administrator but once I close it and run MM again the script dissapears from menu so I can't use it anyway. Look like it will be easier to stick with manual cover search on google.

@SpiritHansi - using the "Tag only (delete file)" should delete the image file for you automatically - is it not doing this? If it's stored in the tag then yes, deleting the file manually is safe.
@Eso Rimmer - that probably means that MM has created a "non-administrator" version of the Scripts.ini file in your VirtualStore. I find the best way to run MM is by ticking the option in the MediaMonkey.exe properties to always "run as administrator". By "source" I mean in the script settings, you can choose different websites to search for images and the url needs to be encoded differently for each one.

Hi Trixmoto,
I have come across a problem, since updating to the latest version of Batch Art Finder a few days ago. It used to work fine (aside from a few activeX warnings) before, but now it doesn't seem to be able to find any art. It reads [queued], then [searching], and then a purple border appears as if art has been found and is loading.. but then it skips it and repeats the cycle.
I've tried this with popular albums with very vague queries, so I'm not sure what's happening.
Thanks for any insight you can give.
PS I'm using MM 3.1 ... 1235
EDIT: Fixed in 3.1.0.1244, which Rusty mentions does solve a few extension issues. I'll leave this here in case someone else had this problem.

Link is down? Any other place where it can be downloaded?

I can't replicate the issue, nor understand from looking at the code how it could be possible. I'll try to investigate further though.
The link is working fine for me, anyone else struggling?

Yes, I'm having the same issue. When I attempt to download any of your scripts by clicking on the yellow and black MediaMonkey logo icons (such as the Genre Finder 4.0 link:
http://trixmoto.net/mm/go.php?f=GenreFinder40.mmip), the same page reloads with the message: "You have requested this download via a hotlink from another website."
I've tried in both Firefox and IE, and I've cleared my cache, to no avail.

Then your browser is not passing through the referrer, I've never seen this behaviour. I've tried on both of these browsers and it works fine for me, so maybe it's a setting somewhere that you've disabled...

Curious, but for some reason I needed to disable the Tab Mix Plus 0.3.7.3 add-on in FF3.0.10 in order for the download link to work.

Windows XP Home SP2
Hi: I don't know if I should start a new thread but I have installed Batch Art Finder 3.0 into Media Monkey v. 3.0.3.1183 and things seem to go well until it comes time to save the cover art found by BAF - and I check the covers to save, click "save" and . . . nothing happens.
I have tried installing/running BAF and MM as administrator and in regular mode - for which I have administrative privileges anyway.
It seems like a great little program - i.e. it finds the art for the albums/CDs but I just can't figure out how to save the art.
Thanks. If I should post this in a new thread please let me know.

Like Trixmoto I also suspect to your own settings in FF I absolutely do not have any issues with Trixmoto site except it do not allow direct leaching

sorry for responding a bit late, I see many people have been diving into the link down comment I made.
To carify: I got an sql error message on all pages that should show scripts. It was solved next day though.
2 days ago the site was down completely for some time, but it works fine again now.
Anyway: I'm now using BAF, which seems to be a great script: compliments for this! However, I did a search for art on a list of albums in one directory, which worked fine. I then went to the next directory with many albums (each in subdirs) and when searching it comes back with 1 cover that matched with an album of the previous search. And I can't get the search working for the second directory. Am I doing something wrong??
