Simply a picture of the nodes and subnodes of the hard to find inconsistency!

Hi Bex, Sorry I've taken so long to get back to you. I wasn't sure how to insert a screenshot so I've uploaded one here: http://img844.imageshack.us/f/20072010191310.jpg/

Use the Direct link from Image Shack and embed it in Img bbcode tags. e.g.
Direct Link:

In the forum post:

Code: Select all

Well, it's impossible to see what's wrong.

1. Do you have two BJ Thomas nodes in MM's ordinary artist tree?
2. Have you tried to run the DB Inconsistencies query?

Try the append "x" trick on Artist for the first track.

Thanks guys,

Bex: No I don't have 2 Artist (or AlbumArtist) nodes. Sorry I don't understand what you mean about the DB inconsistencies query. If you could direct me to the correct part of the thread I would be very grateful.

Owyn: When I append the x I still get 'Non-Letter Inconsistencies (3)' but when I click it there's nothing there.

SOLVED!!! I just did a 'Maintain Library' with complete optimize and now it's fixed. Don't know why I didn't think of that before.

Thanks for all your help guys. MediaMonkey ROCKS!!!!

Bex: I'd still like to know more about the DB inconsistencies query for future reference.

Great! I'll try to add some code so these double entries are not considered in the future. I thought I already had done that?

I meant the "Persons With...->DB inconsistencies", I think it would have displayed the two versions of "BJ Thomas".

BTW, it looks like you're using an outdated version of the script. What version is it?

Is there a way to do a tagging inconsistencies not on the library but on a playlist? I'd like to be able to hammer my playlist above the rest of the database since it'll be this selection of songs that will be uploaded to an ipod

Yes, simply create a filter of the playlist which you then add to all nodes.

Very cool... never knew there was so many settings with TI.

One thing though, the only way that I was able to get the filtering to work here was to set the filters against the albums/folders/persons/traces etc nodes. I wasn't able to set the TI default general settings and have that filter be applied correctly. Perhaps I missed something?

Thanks, if you use "TI's default filter" you also need to select TI's default filter" in all nodes. I'm not so sure it's a valuable feature though...

Absolutley LOVE this script, but I do have an odd one.... (not a major problem, just bugging me is all) I have gone through and removed dsic numbers from my entire library. When I try to filter showing "known" disc numbers there is nothing there, yet when I look in the "Albums With" category my counts are different (i.e. "Single Album Art (4204)" "No Disc#'s (4200)") so there are 4 albums that don't really have disc numbers that for some reason the script thinks they do... any ideas?
