Thanks to ZvezdanD I could fix this crash with fresh MM-setups. Would be great if someone could test the new 2.5 Beta 1 which you find in the first post of this thread.

I also removed SkipDetection as it's already implemented in MM4 by default. So no need for that feature anymore as it uses the default SkipCounter now.

As I said: Testing would be great! I can't promise that it already works perfectly.

Testing now! I could actually install it, that's a plus. I'll let it run a while and show some results. I love you Big_Berny! You have no idea how I missed this script.

I removed some unnecessary codes to improve stability, compatibility and performance of the script. Please restart MM after installing the add-on.

Agree with the lovable heartofhate. Man I am SO pleased it's working again. Thanks again Berny. No problems on this end either...works like a charm. This was the one script I really needed back and Berny helped us out...so grateful. I'm too lazy to rate 56k songs. And having no internal scoring system makes that job suck.

But this is better imo since I can change the scale.

I'm thrilled you're doing at least a little more development. It's been the number one thing keeping me from upgrading, though there are a few other scripts I'm worried about, too.

Question: I see that the new versions of both MM and the script use MM's skip counter; will skipcounts carry over from MM3 if I upgrade?

I'm happy to throw a donation your way if you're set up for that--I've gotten a ton of value out of your script over the years.

Glad you like the script.

Yes, I think that MM4 will keep the old skipcounter data as it's stored in a customfiled which shouldn't get lost. And the new script will still use these informations as it just sums the two SkipCounts (from AutoRateAccurate (old) and from MM4 (new)). All your future Skips will be saved directly in MM4 as this feature is implementen in MM4.

Since I don't use last.fm that often like before I removed the subscription link. I added a paypal donation link instead and I'd surely be pleased to get some dollars. Yeah, I've grown up.
But maybe I'll create a amazon wishlist sometimes as I like the idea more to get little gifts.
