Settings reset upon Windows restart

Hello,
Since the last update of MediaMonkey, on Windows 11, the keyboard shortcuts work again (they used not to) but I changed them to avoid the space bar to start/pause the music in global. Each time I restart Windows it resets my settings again and it reverts to space bar / global. What can I do?

What Build (Help > About) of MediaMonkey are you using and did you do a regular or portable install?

Same problem for me and it is absolutely annoying since the space bar stop the music to play when working on the computer for word or excel. I clear/delete the shortcup but they recreate at each startup.

Hi,
I do not observe such Behavior.
Have you tried to start MMW as Administrator -> delete shortcut/Disable global or reassign it?
Also make sure you are using latest version from

Where are you doing the reset? In MediaMonkey or Windows?

Hi,
I am unable to replicate when I delete the shortcut in menu
Tools > Options > Hotkeys
then it stays removed no matter how many times MediaMonkey or Windows is restarted..
The modified hotkey list is stored with persistent.json file (where also all UI/layout settings is stored),
I would suggest to open new ticket for analyzing your persistent.json and possible log to catch what the issue could be.
